Second League Secured
After the completion of all matches in Group "B" of the Second League, our "D" team finished in 10th place—the relegation playoff position. This meant the team had to fight for their place in the league against the team that placed 10th in Group "A." And succeed they did, celebrating a well-earned spot in next season's competition. Their opponents in the battle to remain in the third-highest table tennis league in the Czech Republic were TJ AVIA Čakovice.

Unlike the playoff system, the relegation playoffs are played over two legs with all 18 matches required to be played. In the event of a tie, the number of sets won and lost becomes the decider.
Fortunately, that wasn't necessary in our case. The boys won both matches, securing their league position in style. The first leg took place "at home" on Varenská Street on Saturday, April 13. Understandably, we didn't want to leave anything to chance, so the strongest possible lineup was fielded. That strategy paid off, as we took the first match 12–6.
Key players were Samuel Palušek and Jaroslav Jůza, who both went undefeated in their singles matches. Jonáš Rak and Jakub Mesaroš each contributed two points, sealing the victory. "We didn't have the best start, losing both doubles, which wasn't ideal. But we still managed to take the lead and see the match through to the end," said Jaroslav Jůza.
The return leg was played a week later on the opponent's home ground. Our team went into the match knowing they only needed to win seven games to secure the overall playoff. This time, Jan Lisztwan replaced Samuel Palušek, but the outcome was unchanged. Honza, along with Jonáš, Jarda, and Kuba, earned a 7–5 lead—enough to secure total victory. The remainder of the match was then forfeited, as the result was already decided, and the team returned home in good spirits.
"We knew we had to start strong, and thankfully, we did. This time, we won both doubles, which gave the team the confidence to control the rest of the match," added Jarda.
