Radim Morávek to make his debut at the European Men’s Championships
Great news for our club and especially for Radim Morávek. His name has appeared on the list of nominated players for the 2026 European Men's Championships, which will take place in Zadar, Croatia. For Radim, this will be his very first appearance at a senior championship – a step that represents a huge milestone in every player's career.

Radim has been selected as the fifth player in the line-up, joining experienced representatives Lubomír Jančařík, Tomáš Polanský, and Pavel Širuček alongside Ondra Květon. Even the nomination itself is confirmation of his long-term work, dedication, and results achieved in recent months and years.
Radim commented on his nomination:
"I'm really happy about this, it's an important milestone for me. I'm looking forward to the atmosphere, which will definitely be different compared to the youth categories. I don't know exactly what to expect, but that's what makes it exciting. For me personally, this is one of the biggest achievements of my career, following the Feeder in Havířov and my victory at the first control tournament. It's also different in the sense that now I'm going as one of the best men in the Czech Republic, not just as one of the best in a youth category. That makes me even more excited about what lies ahead."
The nomination to the national team is not only Radim's debut but also recognition of his perseverance and determination. Long hours of training, traveling to tournaments, and finding his way back after setbacks have now paid off. Participation in the European Championships also opens new doors – the chance to measure himself against the very best, gain invaluable experience, and show that Czech table tennis has another player with international potential.
For our club, Radim's nomination is a tremendous success as well. It demonstrates that systematic work with players pays off and that the path from youth competitions to major international tournaments is possible. We believe his debut in Zadar will not only be a great motivation for him but also an inspiration for our younger players.
