Back on Top After a Year
The final battles for the national title this season are over. At the last domestic championship of the year, cadets and juniors competed in the team event. This traditional tournament has regularly seen our teams reach the podium, and this year was no different.

Last season, we unfortunately failed to win the title, breaking a six-year winning streak in the U19 junior category. This time, no one wanted a repeat of that disappointment—everyone had just one goal in mind: victory. And they achieved it.
The quartet of Vít Kadlec, Jindřich Morávek, Samuel Palušek, and Jonáš Rak reclaimed the Czech National Team Champion title, losing just a single singles match throughout the entire tournament. Under the leadership of coach Pavel Schneider, the team put in a dominant performance and deservedly earned this valuable win.
In the semifinals, they faced the team from Kotlářka Prague. In this decisive battle for a place in the final, it was Vít Kadlec who stepped up, securing two crucial points—first by defeating Jakub Makara, then by avenging a previous loss to Martin Šíp. The third point was delivered by Jindra Morávek, who beat Václav Podrazil.
In the final, our team faced the strong selection from Havířov. In a tightly contested match, we came out on top, winning 3:0. A key moment came in the second singles match, where Jindra Morávek defeated Havířov's top player Daniel Košťál 3:2 in sets. Vítek Kadlec won his match against Matyáš Kolečkář 3:0, and Samuel Palušek added the final point with a 3:1 victory over Vojta Slaný.
"As a 'coach in training,' I'm incredibly proud of the boys. They approached the tournament exactly as they should, and it showed. They played responsibly and supported each other perfectly. Maybe it also helped that our line-ups worked out just the way we planned in every match, and because I told them before the tournament that I was only bringing champions back to Ostrava, they had an extra bit of motivation," said team coach Pavel "Semínko" Schneider.
