Tamara Tomanová

The number one player of the women's Extraliga team is Tamara Tomanová.

Tamara started playing table tennis at the age of six, and her home club is SKST Havířov. She played there for 12 years, representing her club very well during that time. From an early age, she was among the top players across all youth categories, as evidenced by the many titles and medals she has won at the Czech Championships.

Like most of our players, Tamara has experience abroad. She played for five years in Germany, where she was one of the best players in both the 3rd and 2nd Bundesliga.

After her engagements with the Roedinghausen and Kiel teams, she returned to the Czech Republic. At that time, she signed with the Ostrava club Marie Hrachová, where she played two seasons. She then played a season in Hradec Králové before joining us as an Extraliga player in 2020, where she happily continues to play today.

Among her greatest achievements are a silver medal at the Czech Men's and Women's Championships, reaching the round of 16 at the European Youth Championships in Prague, and the title of Junior Vice-Champion in mixed doubles alongside Ondřej Bajger.

On the club level, she contributed to winning two bronze medals — one with the Marie Hrachová club and another last season alongside her teammates here at our club.

Her goal is to win more titles at the upcoming Czech Men's and Women's Championships for the 2023/2024 season, which will take place at the end of March this year in our capital city.
