Radim Morávek

The youngest member of our "A" team is Radim Morávek. Radim has been playing table tennis since he was six years old, and his home club is TJ Jiskra Strážnice.

He played in Strážnice until he was 14 and simultaneously participated in various league competitions on a rotating basis. After enrolling at one of the secondary schools in Ostrava, his choice of club became clear. Radim originally started with us on a rotational basis in the 2nd league and worked his way up to the main lineup of the Extraliga team.

At 20 years old, he is among the younger players in the top domestic league, and naturally, his greatest achievements are likely still ahead of him. However, in the junior categories, he has already collected titles and medals. Among his most notable achievements are reaching the semifinals of the World Junior Contender tournament in Italy and winning a bronze medal at the Czech Republic Under-21 Championships. He also finished 3rd in the Czech Mixed Doubles Championship and, alongside his club teammates, has twice won the Czech Team Championship.

The eldest of the playing Morávek sons dreams of winning the Extraliga title and hopes to one day become a member of the men's national team. He aspires to represent the Czech Republic at European and World Championships, and participation in the Olympic Games would be the ultimate peak of his ambitions.
