Patrik Klos

The main pillar of the "A" team, that is TJ Ostrava KST's men's Extraliga team, is Patrik Klos.
This homegrown player from Ostrava's "Mittal" first picked up a ping pong paddle at the age of 8 in Dolní Benešov. From the age of 12, he played under his current club, TJ Ostrava KST. He spent about eight years at the Ostrava sports complex. Afterwards, he decided on a two-year engagement with the German club SV Union Velbert. He then spent one season in Hodonín before returning to his home club, where he still plays today.
Among his greatest domestic achievements are the titles of Czech junior singles runner-up in 2015 and 2016. Regarding his international successes, Patrik won a gold medal in the cadet team event at the 2013 European Championships in Ostrava, alongside Jiří Martinko and Tomáš Polanský. In 2016, he added a silver medal in the team event at the European Championships in Zagreb to his collection.
Patrik's goal for the future is to win the Czech Extraliga title, which he came closest to in the 2021/2022 season, when the team, alongside Adam Štalzer and Tomáš Martinko, finished in 4th place.
